Who you're agreeing with

Honest Treads LLC ("Honest Treads," "we," "us"), a small web design and SEO studio based in Alpharetta, Georgia. "You" means anyone using honesttreads.net, or any business or individual engaging us for services.

What we do

Honest Treads provides website design and development, on-page SEO, local SEO and Google Business Profile setup, social media marketing support, and related digital services, as described on our Services and Pricing pages. The specific scope, pages, and price for your project are confirmed with you directly, in writing (text, email, or invoice), before work begins.

Free evaluations & live demos

Free website evaluations and free live demos are exactly that: free, with no obligation to buy. You can walk away at any point before agreeing to a paid project and you won't be charged or billed.

Pricing & payment

• Website build fees shown on our Pricing page are one-time fees for the scope described, current as of the date you view that page. Any time-limited launch pricing reverts to regular pricing after its stated end date.
• Domain name registration is a separate, pass-through cost billed by the registrar, and the domain is registered in your name, not ours.
• Monthly care and hosting plans, if you choose one, are billed month-to-month with no long-term contract, and you can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't refund the current period.
• Custom or larger-scope projects outside our published packages are quoted individually before work starts.

Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, the website, its content, and the domain (which was already in your name) belong to you. If you leave for another provider, we'll help make that transition reasonable rather than difficult. We may retain the right to showcase completed work in our own portfolio and marketing, unless you ask us not to.

What we don't guarantee

We build sites and do SEO work honestly and to a high standard, but we don't control Google, other search engines, or how customers behave, so we don't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic numbers, or lead volume. Any performance figures, examples, or comparisons on this site describe typical outcomes or industry data, not a promise about your specific results.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of content, images, and claims you ask us to publish about your business, and for making sure you have the rights to any material you provide us. We'll flag anything that looks off, but the legal responsibility for your business's public claims sits with you.

Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to misuse honesttreads.net: no attempting to breach security, scrape the site at scale, submit forms with false or malicious data, or use the site in a way that disrupts it for other visitors.

Intellectual property

The design, code patterns, and content of honesttreads.net itself (separate from any website we build for a client) belong to Honest Treads LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Services and this website are provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, Honest Treads LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or our services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the specific service in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continuing to use the site or our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
